Japanese pop duo twin Emi Ito dies

TOKYO, Japan - File photo shows Emi Ito (L), one of the identical twin sisters comprising Japanese pop duo The Peanuts, and her twin sister Yumi, singing at an event in December 1968 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of their debut. Emi Ito died on June 15, 2012. She was 71.

Yumi Ito, the younger of the identical twin sisters, died on May 18, 2016, at age 75, a person related to her former management said July 11.
