SALT LAKE CITY, United States - The Olympic flame burns atop the glass and steel cauldron at the Rice-Eccles Olympic Stadium on Feb. 8. Mike Eruzione, captain of the American gold medal-winning ice hockey team in the 1980 Lake Placid Olympic Winter Games, accepted the torch and with his team mates sent the flame up the 117-foot-tall tower.
