TOKYO, Japan - The Tokyo District Court on Oct. 22 sentenced Chong Gyong Saeng (file photo), a former head of the failed Chogin Tokyo credit union mainly serving pro-Pyongyang Korean residents in the metropolitan area to three years and six months in jail for illegally diverting more than 800 million yen of the credit union's funds to the pro-Pyongyang General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon).
