Anti-AUM group forms in Fujioka, Gunma Prefecture

FUJIOKA, Japan - An anti-AUM Shinrikyo citizens' group is formed Sept. 5 at this meeting at the office of an agricultural cooperative in Fujioka, Gunma Prefecture. The group is led by Fujioka Mayor Shoji Tsukamoto. After the meeting about 1,300 Fujioka residents demonstrated at a former factory site now home to AUM Shinrikyo followers, demanding they leave.
