Stanek filed the lawsuits against Fajt for financial management mistakes after dismissing him from his position of NGP director in April 2019. Stanek also dismissed Museum of Art in Olomouc director Michal Soukup at the time. His decision led to protests and started the debate about Stanek's dismissal from his position as culture minister.
