In a statement, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry reaffirmed Egypt's categorical rejection of all forms of violence, stressing its full solidarity with Pakistan in confronting extremism and terrorism. The government and people of Egypt expressed sincere condolences to the government and people of Pakistan, wishing a speedy recovery for all the injured, the statement said. On Sunday, a suicide bomber exploded his jacket at a political gathering of supporters of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl political party in the province, killing more than 50 people.
