The limited growth in consumption compared to the second quarter and the slowdown in foreign demand contributed to the decrease in the growth rate. Gross domestic product (GDP) narrowed 0.1 percent from the previous quarter on a seasonally and calendar-adjusted basis, the data showed. Consumption expenditures of resident households increased by 19.9 percent as a chained volume index in the third quarter of the year compared to the same period of the previous year.
