Shakhtar Donetsk win Ukrainian Cup for 14th time

RIVNE, UKRAINE - MAY 15, 2024 - Players of FC Shakhtar Donetsk (orange and black kit) and FC Vorskla Poltava (white kit) argue on the pitch during the 2023/24 Ukrainian Cup final match at the Avanhard Stadium, Rivne, western Ukraine. The Orange-and-Blacks claimed a 2-1 win over their rivals from Poltava and took home the Ukrainian Cup for the 14th time. On May 11, the Miners won the 2023/24 Ukrainian Premier League title early by beating FC Dynamo Kyiv 1-0 in Lviv. Thus, the Donetsk team achieved a golden double for the 2023/24 season and became the most decorated club since Ukraines independence with 39 trophies.
