China toddler run over twice, neglected by passersby, dies

TOKYO, Japan - Image taken from a video footage posted on the Internet shows a man walking past a 2-year-old girl, who is lying on the ground after being hit by a vehicle on a market street in Foshan, Guangdong Province, China, on Oct. 13, 2011. She died in hospital on Oct. 21, 2011, after she was run over by two vehicles and was left broken and bleeding on the road while at least 18 people passed by without helping her.
