FUKUOKA, Japan - Kyushu Railway Co. (JR Kyushu) on July 1 launched its fourth hydrofoil (shown in photo) for the Fukuoka-Pusan route in the hope of boosting the number of passengers using the sea lane between Japan and South Korea. The JB2, nicknamed Beatle, can carry up to 215 passengers and travel the route in 2 hours and 55 minutes.

The operator of the 170-ton jetfoil, Kyushu Railway Co., presented her with a bouquet and two round-trip tickets on the vessel at the Fukuoka terminal.
