TOKYO, Japan - The aerial scene of scattered debris in Tokyo's Edogawa Ward where some 20 people including small children were injured on April 28 when tents were torn by strong gusts of winds. Fire engines and rescue vehicles can be seen on the right-hand side of the aerial photo taken from a Kyodo News helicopter. About 10 tents had been erected for an outdoor event held near the Funabori station.

TOKYO, Japan - Children are taken out of a nursery school in Tokyo on May 1 after complaining of throat pain and feeling nauseous from what appeared to be paint thinner fumes. Twenty-three children and staff at Funabori Chuo Hoikuen were taken to hospitals, but none showed serious signs of illness.
