KITAKYUSHU, Japan - Fans enjoy an all-night concert of popular Japanese rock group GLAY at an open air venue in the southwestern Japan city of Kitakyushu on Aug. 12. About 200 spectators collapsed after suffering fatigue and attacks of anemia, according to concert organizers. During the eight-hour concert which finished after 5.30 a.m., the high-selling four-member band performed 29 songs including an encore for the audience of some 80,000.

MAKUHARI, Japan - Popular rock group GLAY attracted an audience of 200,000, a Japanese record, at its outdoor concert on a specially-built site next to Makuhari Messe, east of Tokyo, July 31. Fans also gathered in areas surrounding the concert ground near Tokyo Bay in Chiba city's Mihama Ward, Chiba Prefecture, to hear the music even though they could not see the concert itself.
