World Cup 2026 – US: Sprinkler Malfunction Floods Pitch at Halftime of Iraq-Norway Game 2

A sprinkler malfunctioned at Gillette Stadium during halftime of the World Cup match between Iraq and Norway on Tuesday, June 16, flooding part of the pitch near the goal area. Groundskeepers worked to disperse the water, and the field appeared to be back to normal before the second half began.
