Powerful storms swept through Catalonia, including Barcelona and Girona provinces, on Wednesday, September 9. Red alerts for heavy rain were issued, and the storms caused fallen trees and localized flooding in Garrotxa, Berguedà, Ripollès and Lluçanès.
