Koirala becomes prime minister of Nepal for 5th time

KATHMANDU, Nepal - Nepal's King Gyanendra has appointed Girija Prasad Koirala (in undated file photo) as prime minister of Nepal, a royal palace announcement said on April 27. Koirala, president of the Nepali Congress Party, has been appointed as prime minister on the recommendation of the country's seven major political parties.
