Drum performance to coax alligators to mate

SAPPORO, Japan - Percussionist Goshin Moro plays a drum in front of an alligator enclosure at Maruyama Zoo in Sapporo on Feb. 22, 2013. The zoo invited the percussionist to play in an effort to coax Chinese alligators to mate, the second such attempt, after one in the previous year. In the both attempts, the reptiles seemed excited by the sound, but the drum performance fell short of its goal, according to the zoo.
