Philippines: Typhoon Krathon Unleashes Devastating Weather In Northern Islands 3

Typhoon Krathon, known as Julian in the Philippines, intensified into a super typhoon on Tuesday morning, October 1, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). Krathon brought heavy rainfall, causing flooding and landslides in the northern islands, prompting officials to evacuate residents and shut down schools and inter-island ferries.
