Ecuador: Forest Fire On Quito Outskirts Leads To Injuries, Road Closures

A wildfire broke out on the outskirts of Quito on Tuesday, September 24, resulting in at least six injuries as of Wednesday. The fire started in the Guápulo neighborhood and spread rapidly. Many roads were closed, and residents were advised to avoid traveling around the city to assist firefighting and rescue efforts.
