I'm currently a singer and vocal teacher in Guangxi Arts University. Today I would like to share three Mandarin terms that I've learned in China and that have influenced me during my stay in China for the past 10 years. The first one is music, 'Yinyue'. When I was young, I joined my dad in watching documentaries about China and I remember seeing 'Shan Ge' which, transliterated, means 'mountain singing'. And there are lots of different styles of singing. I was really amazed. That just goes to show how vast and rich the culture of China
