NEW DELHI, India - Terumasa Hino (C), a noted Japanese jazz trumpeter, performs at a charity concert inside the compound of the Japanese Embassy in New Delhi on March 7. The concert was held to raise funds for victims of the Jan. 26 earthquake in the western Indian state of Gujarat, which killed more than 20,000 people and caused extensive damage.

BHUJ, India - Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force members aboard a Japanese military cargo plane arrive Feb. 6 in Bhuj, one of the cities hit hardest by the Jan. 26 earthquake in the western state of Gujarat. They will help erect tents and deliver blankets to quake survivors.
