South Korea: Road Collapses at Subway Construction Site Near Seoul

A collapse occurred at a construction site for an underground subway in Gwangmyeong, near Seoul, on Friday afternoon, April 11th, leaving one worker missing. Construction of the tunnel was in progress at the site, but early on Friday, numerous cracks were found in the pillars, resulting in the road closure above. The workers were reportedly inspecting the road for safety when the collapse occurred.
