Diners of different ethnic groups can always find one or two dishes to their liking on the menu, whether it be the Uygur pilaf, the Tartar pastries, the Kazakh Naren, or the dumplings favored by the Han people. The owner of the restaurant, Halida Yilahun, a Uygur, said the secret of her restaurant's rich menu lies in her big extended family of more than 50 members, who are from different ethnic groups.
