OTSU, Japan - Towed by 140 people, a jumbo kite measuring 13 meters tall and 12 m wide soars over a river embankment during a big kite festival in Higashiomi, Shiga Prefecture on May 25, staying airborne for more than three and a half minutes. About 260 people from all over Japan flew their own kites at the event, which drew 35,000 spectators.
