TOKYO, Japan - Foreign Minister Yoriko Kawaguchi asked trade minister Takeo Hiranuma on July 16 to dispatch one of his officials to her ministry as part of efforts to do away with scandals involving Japan's official development assistance (ODA). Hiranuma did not specify which official he may send.
