WWII survivor recalls wartime ordeal at peace park

Kirin to acquire drugmaker Kyowa Hakko

Kyowa Hakko to sell liquor operations to Asahi Breweries

Hakko Sangyo (Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture) has completed and started selling a pressure vessel with a new structure using glass lining technology. The baffle (hindrance plate) for agitation is installed inside the main body to improve maintainability. The company will propose this product to the pharmaceutical industry and others as a product that will lead to improved production capacity. The company expects demand from pharmaceutical manufacturers in the process of making raw material intermediates. The size of the machines will range from 100 liters to 1,000 liters.
