The Hakone post town

This is the post town of Hakone viewed from Mishima-cho when facing Odawara-cho. Since the telegraph pole placed between Tokyo and Nagasaki in 1873 is visible, and the Hakone Imperial Villa at Dogashima by Lake Ashinoko in 1886 cannot be seen, this photo is assumed to have been taken between those periods.
