More snowfall expected in Sea of Japan areas

HAKUSAN, Japan - Rescue workers stand near a house that collapsed under the pressure of heavy snowfall in Hakusan, Ishikawa Prefecture, late Jan. 5. The Japan Meteorological Agency warned on Jan. 6 that said snow will continue to fall heavily through Jan. 7 in Sea of Japan coastal areas of western and northern Honshu, which have already been hit by record amounts of snow.
