Trinity HUB Social and Educational Space for visually impaired has opened in Kyiv

KYIV, UKRAINE - APRIL 10, 2024 - Handrails with room numbers in Braille to facilitate the spatial orientation and mobility of the patients are seen on the premises of the Trinity HUB Social and Educational Space for visually impaired, Kyiv, capital of Ukraine. According to the National Health Service of Ukraine, between February 2022 and July 2023, 38,870 Ukrainians were primarily diagnosed with vision loss and impairment, accounting for 28% of the total number of war-related injuries. The main objectives of the center are rehabilitation and education, career guidance, sports and leisure for the rehabilitants.

OHJIRIGAWA RIVER

The flow of Ojiri River into Lake Chuzenji and the Ojiri bridge built at the mouth of the river. Ojiri bridge is a plank-floored bridge without handrails,and so it is a remnant early days. This bridge was not lost in the flood in 1902. This bridge stretches from the south bank of Lake Chuzenji to Chuzenji. Ojiri River flows into Kegon Falls. Nishi Otani Entsu-kyo Bridge

The Entsu bridge over Kogetsu Pond at the entrance to the Otani Honro. It was built to commemorate the 600th anniversary of the death of Shinran in 1856. It is the only circle arch bridge in Japan. The two circles are reflected in the pond. It is also called Megane (spectacles) bridge. Maruyama Yaami Hotel

The corridor connecting the buildings have handrails with ornamental tops, and the roof is thatched. A person stands in the centre of the corridor. A bamboo wall with a roof is built next to the gentle slope leading to the top from the path in the foreground. OHJIRIGAWA RIVER

A view of Oshiri Bridge over Oshiri River and the mouth of the river in Chuzenji Lake. Oshiri Bridge is a board bridge without handrails and so is a remnant of the early days. It was not lost in the flood of 1902. This bridge connects the south bank of Chuzenji Lake and Chuzenji. The flow of Oshiri River runs into Kegon Falls. Nagasaki Kiyomizudera Temple

This is a distant view of Kiyomizu Temple, said to have been founded by the priest Keijun who came to Nagasaki with a Buddhist statue in 1623. Historical documents state that the Kawarado (tiled temple building) in the centre, which was modeled after Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto with stone handrails surrounding it, was donated by Matsukura Shigemasa, lord of Shimabara Castle. The main temple building was added by Chinese resident He Gaocai in 1668. It is rather uncommon to use an arched doorway other than in the front hallway.
