AKITA, Japan - The screen of a cellular phone belonging to an official of the Happo town office in Akita Prefecture shows a message released by the Akita prefectural government erroneously reporting a North Korean rocket launch. Later, the central government made a similar mistaken announcement and withdrew it. It cited an error in the information-relaying system called Em-Net. (Kyodo)
