Japanese student takes top prize in U.N. art contest

NEW YORK, United States - Haruka Shoji (L), a U.S. high school student from Japan, receives a certificate for winning first prize in a U.N. art contest from U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki Moon at the U.N. headquarters in New York on Oct. 23, 2012. Shoji was awarded the prize for her depiction of a young girl looking toward a bright sky as part of an art contest under the theme "Imagining a World Free of Nuclear Weapons."
