DRESDEN, Germany - Haruyo Nihei (3rd from R), a survivor of a 1945 U.S. air raid on Tokyo, joins a human chain after a memorial service in Dresden, Germany, on Feb. 13, 2012. 3 killed in Okayama head-on collision

OKAYAMA, Japan - A man, his mother and aunt are killed Oct. 11 when the station wagon (L) they were riding in collided head-on with a large truck (R) in Niimi, Okayama Prefecture, police said. Killed in the 11 a.m. collision inside the Ohara Tunnel were Hiroshi Saeki, 50, his 78-year-old mother, Haruyo, and his 80-year-old aunt, Tamayo Yumba, police said. Tadataka Suzuki, the truck's 58-year-old driver, suffered minor injuries to his legs, police said.
