Shiga was the village headman of Fuchi in Urakami Village, and the area leading onto present-day Asahi-Ohashi Bridge in Asahi-machi was called ‘Shiga-no-hato.’ The building on the tip of the land on the left is Restaurant Volga run by Morooka Matsu.
