This is the first China cultural center in the Gulf region. Moussaid Zamir, assistant secretary general of the Kuwait National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, delivered a speech at the ceremony, stating that Kuwait has always attached great importance to cultural development. During his speech, Chinese Ambassador to Kuwait Zhang Jianwei said that the center would lead the development of cultural exchanges between China and the Gulf region.
