'Rakugo' comic storyteller ordered to pay penalty, back taxes

TOKYO, Japan - ''Rakugo'' comic storyteller Hayashiya Shozo speaks with reporters in Tokyo on April 16 after being ordered by the Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau to pay about 40 million yen in penalty and back taxes. The bureau said Hayashiya failed to declare around 120 million yen in income for the three years through 2005.
