Yokota seeks help, sanctions on N. Korea at U.S. Congress hearin

WASHINGTON, United States - Sakie Yokota, mother of Japanese abductee Megumi Yokota, testifies before a U.S. congressional panel on April 27, calling for U.S. help and international economic sanctions against North Korea to force it to return Japanese and other abducted nationals. ''Members of Congress, members of the administration and people of America, please render us your help,'' Sakie, 70, said, becoming the first relative of Japanese abductees to testify in a U.S. congressional hearing.
