OSAKA, Japan - Yoshiki Sawa, a professor in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Osaka University Hospital, talks in Suita, Osaka Prefecture, western Japan, on July 23, 2014, about his team's successful transplant of a sheet of cells to the heart of an 11-year-old girl, stricken with a grave heart disease, and subsequent improvement in her heart's functions.
