India: Heavy Rain and Winds Batter Burgampadu Village in Telangana

A strong storm accompanied by heavy rain and winds caused damage in Burgampadu village, Telangana, on September 23. Visuals show trees uprooted, roof sheets blown away and debris scattered across waterlogged streets as residents moved through the affected area. Minor injuries were reportedly sustained during the storm, while authorities advised residents to remain alert amid forecasts of further heavy rainfall.

India: Landslide Hits Narsipatnam-Koyyuru Road After Heavy Rain in Andhra Pradesh

A landslide occurred on the Narsipatnam-Koyyuru main road in Koyyuru Mandal, Andhra Pradesh, following several days of heavy rainfall. Visuals show debris spread across the roadway and a concrete safety barrier pillar that collapsed during the landslide, obstructing vehicle movement along the ghat section. Japan: Manhole Bursts With Water as Typhoon Dujuan Brings Heavy Rain

A powerful Typhoon Dujuan brought heavy rain to a wide swath of Japan's Pacific coast on Monday, September 21, and flooding was reported in several areas. The Japan Meteorological Agency issued a Level 5 special warning for landslides in Oshima Town in the Izu Islands. It also issued Level 2 to 4 heavy rain warnings across the Kanto-Koshin region. This video shows water forcefully gushing out of a manhole in Yokohama due to heavy rain.
