STORY: Int'l textile trade fair kicks off in Frankfurt DATELINE: Jan. 12, 2022 LENGTH: 0:00:45 LOCATION: FRANKFURT, Germany CATEGORY: ECONOMY SHOTLIST: 1. various of textile trade fair STORYLINE: The 2023 edition of Heimtextil, the international trade fair for home and contract textiles, kicked off at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition center on Tuesday. The four-day fair features a broad range of innovations in textile interior design. The theme of this year's event is sustainability. More than 400 Chinese companies from various sub-sectors also participate in the fair. First held in 1971 with 679 exhibitors, Heimtextil has grown into a leading event in the textiles industry.
