US: SUV Crashes Into Domino’s Pizza, Triggers Explosion in Utah

An SUV crashed into a Domino’s in Herriman, south of Salt Lake City, Utah, rupturing a gas line and causing an explosion on Saturday night, July 5. Two bystanders rescued the driver and a passenger moments before the vehicle caught fire. Several people from the three-car crash were hospitalized, but no injuries were reported from the blast.

US: Snowstorm Hits Utah, Valley Areas See Snow Accumulations

A storm rolled across much of Utah on Wednesday, February 7, bringing rain and heavy snow. Weather authorities said the storm could last through Friday. An avalanche warning was issued for southwest and central Utah mountain ranges through Thursday morning on top of winter weather advisories for mountains across the state. Valley areas in the north also saw rain turn to snow due to cold air moving in.
