Toshiba opens new flash memory production facility

NAGOYA, Japan - Toshiba Corp. President Hisao Tanaka (C) and other officials, including those of its U.S. business partner SanDisk Corp., cut the ribbon at a ceremony to open the second phase of the No. 5 flash memory chip fabrication facility in Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture, western Japan, on Sept. 9, 2014.
