The most emblematic image of the town's patron saint festivities is the Caragol del Born, when more than a hundred elegantly decorated horsemen make their entrance into the Plaça des Born. Another of the events of St. John's Day are the Jocs des Pla, medieval equestrian games that take place at dusk, with the exhibition of riders performing skill exercises from their mounts.
