Thousands of travelers endured hours-long queues at US airports on Sunday, March 8, as spring break traffic collided with a TSA staffing crisis. With personnel working without pay during the ongoing partial government shutdown, wait times at Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport were warned to exceed three hours.
