US: Heavy Rain Causes Flooding in Houston Area, Forcing Highway Closure

A storm system brought strong winds and heavy rain to the Houston area on Saturday, April 18, causing flooding, power outages, and road closures across the region. More than three inches of rain fell in parts of the city, forcing the closure of Interstate 10 near the East Loop.
