Ex-Futaba mayor to run in Fukushima gubernatorial race

FUKUSHIMA, Japan - Katsutaka Idogawa, former mayor of Futaba, home of the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear complex, announces on Sept. 16, 2014, in the northeastern Japan city of Fukushima that he will run in the October Fukushima gubernatorial election. Idogawa served as Futaba mayor from December 2005 to February 2013.
