Japanese man sets off on 3-day swim to S. Korea

YAMAGATA, Japan - Ken Ikarashi (in file photo), a 50-year-old employee of Tsuruoka city in Yamagata Prefecture, set off early July 20 from the Tsushima Islands in Nagasaki Prefecture to try to reach the South Korean port of Pusan in three days. If all goes well and the weather is good, Ikarashi should reach Pusan on July 22, organizers said.
