58 Sub-Saharan Migrants Rescued And Arrived In El Hierro

A fiber cayuco with nine sub-Saharan migrants on board, all of them men, has arrived today at the dock of La Restinga, in El Hierro. The vessel was sighted by the skipper of the salvamar Adhara at 10:05 a.m., when it was already entering port. Most of the occupants of the cayuco are in apparent good health, the sources informed, although one of them needed to be transferred to the Hospital Insular Virgen de los Reyes for medical attention.
