Statue of former Japan football head coach Osim

Photo taken on June 24, 2023, shows a statue of former Japan and Yugoslavia national football team head coach Ivica Osim unveiled the same day at a sports park in Chiba, eastern Japan, with his wife, Asima (R), and son, Amar, attending. Osim first arrived in Japan in 2003 to take the reins at then J-League first-division side JEF United Ichihara, now Chiba, propelling them to their first major title, the 2005 League Cup. He died at 80 in May 2022.
