US: Flash Floods Inundate New York City After Powerful Storm 6

A powerful storm triggered flash flooding across New York City on Wednesday, May 20, prompting the National Weather Service to issue an emergency declaration. Multiple neighborhoods were inundated, with footage from Brooklyn showing streets completely underwater. Drivers stranded on Jackie Robinson Parkway were forced to climb onto the roofs of their vehicles.
