Super Typhoon Man-Yi, known locally as Pepito, made its second landfall in Dipaculao, Aurora, at 3:20 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, following its first landfall late Saturday on Catanduanes Island, according to PAGASA. Man-Yi battered parts of Central and Northern Luzon overnight, bringing intense winds and torrential rainfall across the region.

Philippines: Strong Winds And Flooding Hit Luzon As Typhoon Gaemi Intensifies Monsoon 9

Severe impacts from Typhoon Gaemi, locally named Carina, were being felt in the Philippines on Tuesday, July 23, as it continued to enhance the southwest monsoon, bringing strong winds and flooding to parts of Luzon island. As of Tuesday morning, Gaemi slightly intensified and prompted Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No.2 over parts of the northernmost province of Batanes. The western portion of Luzon saw major flooding since Monday. This video shows a big tree that has fell at Fernando Air Base in Lipa City, Batangas due to strong winds.

Canada: 2 Hospitalized After Seaplane Collides With Boat In Coal Harbour In Vancouver 3

2 people were hospitalized after a Harbour Air seaplane collided with a pleasure boat in Vancouver's Coal Harbour on Saturday, June 8. According to a statement from Harbour Air, the seaplane carrying the pilot and 5 passengers collided with the boat after takeoff from the seaplane terminal. The two people hospitalized were among the four on the boat. The Transportation Safety Board is conducting an investigation.
