Super Typhoon Man-Yi, known locally as Pepito, made its second landfall in Dipaculao, Aurora, at 3:20 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, following its first landfall late Saturday on Catanduanes Island, according to PAGASA. Man-Yi battered parts of Central and Northern Luzon overnight, bringing intense winds and torrential rainfall across the region.

Severe impacts from Typhoon Gaemi, locally named Carina, were being felt in the Philippines on Tuesday, July 23, as it continued to enhance the southwest monsoon, bringing strong winds and flooding to parts of Luzon island. As of Tuesday morning, Gaemi slightly intensified and prompted Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No.2 over parts of the northernmost province of Batanes.
